José Luis Ruiz Real
Professor of Marketing, University of AlmeríaJosé Luis Ruiz Real is a Full Professor of Marketing at the University of Almería, where he also serves as Head of International Promotion. He holds a PhD in Business Management and Economics, a degree in Economics and Business from the Complutense University of Madrid, and a Diploma in Business from CEU San Pablo. He has been a board member of AEMARK and the Secretary General of AECIT, and his international career includes consultancy work in nearly 100 countries, advisory roles in the United States, and visiting professorships in Europe, Asia, and Latin America. He has coordinated multiple European Erasmus+ projects and currently leads Agri&Tour, focused on advancing agritourism in Europe. His research has been published in high-impact journals such as Industrial Marketing Management, Journal of Hospitality & Tourism Research, and International Journal of Retail & Distribution Management. A frequent speaker at international conferences on marketing, tourism, and innovation, he brings a global and strategic perspective highly relevant to the evolving intersection of marketing and artificial intelligence.
